Virginia Madsen Gets Spooked In 'The Haunting In Connecticut'

Oscar-nominated actress Virginia Madsen is in the new movie The Haunting in Connecticut.
Based on true events dating back to 1987, the movie follows the Campbell family upon their move to upstate Connecticut. There, they soon learn that their charming Victorian home has a disturbing history: it was once a funeral parlor in which the owner's clairvoyant son Jonah served as a demonic messenger who served as a portal for spiritual entities to enter our world. The plans he has in store for the Campbell family are, putting it mildly, harrowing.
Madsen first gained widespread acclaim with her Oscar and Golden Globe-nominated performance in Alexander Payne's Sideways. She has also starred opposite Jim Carrey in The Number 23 and appeared in Francis Ford Coppola's The Rainmaker. She is known as one of Hollywood's most versatile actresses to date.
The Haunting in Connecticut hits theaters today.
