Miss New York And Miss New Jersey Get Ready To Strut Their Stuff To Become Miss USA

miss0323.jpg

Miss New York Tracey Chang and Miss New Jersey Kaity Rodriguez stopped by to talk about the upcoming Miss USA pageant in which they will be competing.

Representing New York will be 26-year old Chang, who hails from Beijing, China. When asked which figure, dead or alive, she would most like to have lunch with, Chang named Warren Buffet: "I would love to hear investment insights from Mr. Buffet amidst the current economic turmoil," she says, deeming Buffet "the greatest investor and one of the biggest philanthropists known to mankind."

Representing New Jersey will be 24-year old Hackensack native Rodriguez. She would most like to lunch with her great-grandmother Anna Hannibal: "Anna was a mother of 13 children. In today’s society, women have so many responsibilities and often have trouble balancing their lives. I would want to find out how she remained balanced as a mother, wife, and employee," she says.

Chang and Rodriguez will join delegates from each of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia for more than two weeks as they take part in a schedule of fun-filled events leading up to the pageant.

The 58th Annual Miss USA competition will broadcast live from the Theatre for the Performing Arts located at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on April 19, 2009 and can be seen at 9pm on NBC.

I wonder why Ms. New York,Tracey, did not present New York as an inviting place to visit-with the Statue of Liberty, Broadway, Soho, and so many woderful places to visit I did not feel there was aknowledge or enthusiasm for her state. Ms New Jersey, Kaity, pointed out the diversity and wonderful aspects of her state with pride. Both ladies were lovely, however the poised confident manner of Ms. New Jersey, Kaity, made me feel she could handle the demands of Ms. U.S.A. while staying beautiful and unflappable at the same time.Oh,by the way, Kaity, what great legs! Good luck ladies!

Kaity from Jersey was definitely more confident and had such a striking presence. I am so impressed. New Jersey finally picked someone who would represent the state well and bring home the crown.

I'm so proud to be a Jersey-Girl again! An absolutely beautiful woman and she is actually INTELLIGENT TOO??? RARE combo!! NJ has soo much to offer and Miss NJ hit the nail on the head with that one! Great job! I'm so glad we have a representative for our state that isn't your cliche Beauty Queen airhead! Gorgeous, lady-like and educated- not a bubbly ditz!! CAN'T WAIT to see you get your other crown!

Way to go Miss New Jersey. You've got my vote. Great Job!
