Jodyne Speyer Teaches Us How To Dump And Be Done With It

jo0325.jpg

Jodyne Speyer is the author of Dump 'Em: How to Break Up with Anyone from Your Best Friend to Your Hairdresser

With a tinge of humor, the self-help book gives us all the tools to recognize and end unwanted relationships, from recognizing the warning signs of when a break up is in order, to what to say (and what not to say) when the dumping gets tough. It teaches us to conquer our fear of confrontation, and master the art of the tactful, peaceful and permanent break up.

The sister of popular comedian Sarah Silverman, Speyer is a self-proclaimed "recovering avoidant" worked on such shows as Joe Millionaire and Shear Genius. According to her website, she has successfully dumped hundreds of people, not always on her own behalf.

Dump 'Em: How to Break Up with Anyone from Your Best Friend to Your Hairdresser is in bookstores now.
