Eriq La Salle Is No 'Stranger' To Television

In the Hallmark Channel Original Movie Relative Stranger, Eriq LaSalle plays Walter Clemons, a former football star, sidelined by a knee injury, who had been chased from home six years previously, haunted by his failed potential. He turns to alcohol and solitary defeat, leaving his family to cope with being abandoned by him.
Clemons suddenly finds himself forced to face the ghosts of his past upon the death of his father. He has two children whom he hasn’t seen or spoken to in six years.This time, he is prepared to try and make amends with his family.
La Salle was born and raised in Hartford, CT. He studied two years at Juillard and graduated from New York University graduate theater program with a B.F.A. degree in theater. He has appeared in films such as One Hour Photo and has made television appearances on Without a Trace. You can expect to catch him in an upcoming episode of ER, which will air this Thursday at 10 pm on NBC.
The Hallmark Original Movie Premiere of Relative Stranger will take place this Saturday, March 14 at 9pm on the Hallmark Channel.
