Dining PIX: Ann & Tony's Italian Chicken Breast

Anthony Napolitano of Ann & Tony's came by PIX studio to show us how to make their signature dish Chicken Ann & Tony's. It's chicken breast topped with prosciutto, mozzarella and artichoke hearts sauteed in a black olive and mushroom sauce.
This dish has been on their menu for over 50 years. "My grandmother Ann, cooked this dish for my grandfather Tony on their wedding night, November 9th, 1941. These were his favorite foods and she combined them to make him something special and it has been on our menu ever since," said Napolitano.

Chicken Ann & Tony's
Ingredients
2 3oz Chicken Breasts
2 Artichoke Hearts
2 Slices of Prosciutto
2 Slices of Mozzarella
3-5 Sliced Olives
3-5 Sliced Mushrooms
Butter
Chicken Base
Brown Gravy Base
Parsley
Directions
1. Put butter, chicken base, brown gravy base, slat, pepper and parsley in a pan and heat it.
2. Put two chicken breasts, olives and mushrooms in pan and sauté for five minutes.
3. Put the artichoke hearts, prosciutto, and mozzarella on top of the chicken.
4. Put pan in oven for five minutes to melt the mozzarella and serve.

Tony you had me cracking up, you and your brother are true family, I miss my NY swagga! I love Italian dishes, my old coworker is Italian and he would invite the family over or bring in food he and his mom would cook and boy was it good, I miss it. I plan on making this dish for my wife tomorrow, I know she will love it. Great job on the set, you guys look natural, hey maybe the cooking channel will have a show for you guys! See ya on Facebook. Anthony & Ralph it was wonderful to watch you both on WPIX 11 Morning News. And also watching Anthony whip up one of his amazing delicious dishes. His cooking is the best Italian cooking I've had, who ever wants to experience a great Italian dish go eat at Ann & Tony's in the Bronx.
