Cheer Up, These Cocktails Are Delicious And Cheap To Make

If you're tired of the bar scene, but could still use a good drink, then learn how to make your own crowd-pleasing cocktails at home on the cheap.

Mixologist Tad Carducci is sharing his tips for making budget-friendly drinks. You'll save a ton of cash, plus there's no wait for the bathroom.

Carducci will show us how to make the cocktails Savage Chic, Skyrockets In Flight and Sobieski Summer Cup.

COCKTAIL RECIPES AND VIDEO DEMO AFTER THE JUMP...


Savage Chic
Ingredients
1.5 oz. Sobieski
0.75 oz. Marie Brizard Orange Curacao
1 oz. pomegranate juice
1 teaspoon blackberry jam or four fresh blackberries
0.5 oz. fresh lime juice
4 medium leaves fresh basil
basil leaf garnish

Directions
1. Lightly muddle sage in bottom of mixing tin.
2. Add all ingredients and shake.
3. Strain into chilled cocktail glass.


Skyrockets In Flight
Ingredients
2 oz. Sobieski Vodka
3 oz. pineapple puree or juice
2 dashes Green Tabasco sauce
0.5 oz. agave nectar
0.5 oz fresh lime juice
fresh grated nutmeg and cinnamon

Directions
1. Shake all ingredients over ice.
2. Strain into tall glass over fresh ice.
3. Garnish with orange twist and chile slice.


Sobieski Summer Cup
Ingredients
2 oz. Sobieski
0.5 oz. fresh lemon
0.75 oz. agave nectar
2 strawberries, hulled and quartered
4 ½ in. slices fresh rhubarb, red part
sugar for dipping rhubarb

Directions
1. Thoroughly muddle strawberries and rhubarb.
2. Add all remaining ingredients and shake.
3. Strain into chilled cocktail glass or over crushed ice in old-fashioned glass.
4. Garnish with rhubarb spear dipped in sugar.
