Ice Skate At South Street Seaport For A Cool $5

The wait is over for the launch of the only ice skating rink in lower Manhattan. Seaport Ice is now open, with the skating season scheduled to continue through the end of March, on Pier 17 at The Seaport. And Tamsen could not wait to hit the ice. She learns more about the new facility plus a few tricks from the skate patrol.
The rink operates seven days a week, 10am to 10pm, with general admission set at $5, and top-of-the-line skating equipment available for a $7 rental fee. The 8,000 square-foot ice rink, which can accommodate up to 325 skaters, is operated and managed by Upsilon Ventures, LLC -- the project development company, which introduced The Pond at Bryant Park in 2005 to much acclaim and ongoing success.
DIRECTIONS AND VIDEO AFTER THE JUMP...

Tamsen, just wondering what name brand jacket you were wearing while ice skating at So. Street Skating on Tues, Feb 3rd, and where did you purchase it. It was really cute! Thank you!

Hi Lisa!
It's Tamsen...that red jacket was by Zara...and I think I got it at their Lexington Avenue store (across from Bloomingdales) :-)
