Tony Danza Talks About Determining 'The Contender'

danza0220.jpg

Actor and former professional boxer Tony Danza stopped by to talk about the season finale of the Versus reality series The Contender, which airs on Wednesday at 10pm from Foxwoods Casino.

The Contender pits 16 cruiserweight boxers in a 12-episode competition. Going through the most intense training of their lives, only two will make it to the final to duke it out in the boxing ring for the title of Contender Champion. Danza stopped by last December to talk about hosting the reality TV show.

This Brooklyn native is best known for his roles on 1980s series Who's The Boss? and Taxi. He made his Broadway debut in 2006 as Max Bialystock in The Producers.

G-d, he's adorable. I don't care how old he is. I saw Cary Grant when he was 80. He was fabo. I can't wait to see Tony at 80 too but unfortunately, I'm older than he and not in as good shape as that cutie. I guess I'll just have to imagine.
PS: I love that he made it clear he's still married!
