"No Day But Today" To Pay Homage To 'Rent'

"Rent" stars Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal came to talk about the show's tour, as well as the DVD of its last performance on Broadway. Yours truly beat out the competition in a sing-off judged by Pascal and Rapp!
The long-running rock-opera recently closed its curtains at Nederlander Theatre. With music and lyrics by Jonathan Larson, the show focuses on a group of impoverised youth struggling to survive and thrive in New York's Lower East Side under the shadow of AIDS. Rapp plays Mark Cohen, a filmmaker and friend of protagonist and songwriter Roger Davis, played by Pascal.
Rapp first performed on Broadway in 1981 in the flop "The Little Prince and the Aviator" and later went on to appear in films such as Dazed and Confused and A Beautiful Mind.Rapp released a solo CD, entitled Look Around in 2000.
Bronx's very own Pascal reaped a Tony nomination for his work in "Rent." He was later cast in the Elton John and Tim Rice musical "Aida." He has released two solo rock albums, 2000's Model Prisoner and 2004's Civilian.
Performances of "Rent" will take place at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center through February 15. For more information on the "Rent" tour, visit: www.siteforrent.com/tourschedule. Rent: Filmed Live on Broadway is in stores now.

I am curious as to why Adam Pascal did not perform in opening night at NJPAC. If anyone knows I'm curious and quite disappointed. Thanks
Per Adam Pascal's Facebook page, he apologized that he could not perform on Tuesday 10 February. His absence was due to pain in his neck and shoulder. He has also been fighting a cold for the past few weeks.
