When I first met my boyfriend a year and half ago our first date was cake and coffee. He never bought me anything but we did go to Italy that summer. Before I lost my job he would talk about marriage and now there is no more of that talk. We have been living together now for 6 months, I'm playing the wife role without the ring. His money is not my money, he buys food, takes me out to dinner on Saturday and that is all. Where was Julie Spira when I needed her?
Hi Janet,
Thank you for your comment. There is some truth to that old saying, why buy the cow when you get the milk for free?
Aren't you worth more than just a Saturday night date and a roof over your head?
Perhaps you should start dating others and get your needs met.
Keep me posted, and good luck.
xoxo
Julie
