Friday Forecaster: 11-Year-Old Long Islander Billy Miecuna

fridayforecaster0220.jpg

This week's Friday Forecaster is 11-year-old weather aficionado Billy Miecuna. He attends Lakeville Elementary School in Great Neck, Long Island. Billy uses Google Earth to track storms. He loves snowstorms because of the chance that school will be closed. He also finds it interesting how weather can help the environment for example rain storms water the crops and could provide solar power.
