Etta James Threatens To Whoop Beyonce's Ass
This is not a joke: 71-year-old Etta James actually threatened to beat the crap out of Beyonce Knowles -- and it's caught all on tape!The war is all over Etta's song, "At Last " -- Beyonce sang the tune at Obama's 1st Inauguration Ball on Jan. 20th ... but last week at a concert in Seattle, James was still pissed.
While on stage, Etta told the crowd, "Your President, the one with the big ears ... he had that woman singing my song. She gone get her ass whipped."
She continued, "The great Beyonce ... I can't stand Beyonce."
Ironically, Etta didn't kick up this sorta fuss when Beyoncé portrayed her in Cadillac Records.
Reps for Beyonce had no comment.

OK Etta James is a very low class woman. How dare she insult Beyonce who has accomplished more then Etta James could ever dream. This comment comes from a Heroin addict that only accomplished one good song. Beyonce blows her away and shs is just jealous. Beyonce is a woman who is so talented and she sang that song better then Etta James could. Beyonce is too much of a lady to comment back.
Etta James is just bitter by the acknowledgement
that Beyonce is having singing her sing. I think
Beyonce can sing, but "At Last" is way out of her league. Etta James' version is way beyond Beyonce's reach, so Shelly please listen to both versions your IPod again because you have no idea what music is.

Hello I feel that Etta James was very unprofessional to come at my sister Beyonce Knowles. She's probably mad at the fact that Beyonce sounds better than her. If she felt any kind of way she didn't have to do it this way. She could have spoken to Beyonce woman to woman. If Beyonce is reading this I would like to say "Beyonce do not pay any attention to Ms. James because she is mad that she sees' a young black woman who is very successful and not on drugs". And so what if its her song I'll sing it too if I wanted to. I love you Beyonce keep up the good work; your mom raised a beautiful, and intelligent black woman.

YOU HUGGED HER AND KISSED AS A GREAT PIONEER OF MUSIC SHOULD, THEN TO TURN AROUND AND ACT AS A NOVICE PERFORMER WOULD ... DISGRACEFUL.
