RELIEF TIPS AND VIDEO AFTER THE JUMP...

1. Get some relief for sore throats caused by post-nasal drip by gargling with warm salt water (made by combining a cup of warm water and a quarter of a teaspoon of salt) to help ease throat soreness. Use as often as needed, but do not swallow the liquid

2. To help with nasal congestion, try a saline rinse – it helps moisturize your nasal cavity and loosen dried mucus.

3. For on the go, quick relief to get you through the day, use a cough drop, such as HALLS®, which starts working within ten seconds to relieve a cough, sooth a sore throat and cool nasal passages.

4. To sooth chest congestion or headaches, try taking a steamy shower and using with a humidifier while you are sleeping. Both help keep your airways moisturized during the dry months of winter.

5. Be sure to wash your hands frequently during the cough and cold season. And hydrate your body by drinking eight-to-ten glasses of water to help flush out the system, and keep your throat moist.
