Ted Allen Puts Our Anchors Up On The 'Chopping' Block
Ted Allen of Food Detectives is hosting the new Food Network reality cooking show Chopped.
The series challenges four up-and-coming chefs to turn a selection of everyday ingredients into an extraordinary three-course meal. Week after week, contestants get "chopped" -- or eliminated -- by our panel of elite culinary judges. The winner will be awarded a cool $10,000.
We put Sukanya and Steve up to a sandwich showdown. Equipped with a mystery basket, our anchors were pitted against each other in a challenge that tested their innovation and creativity in the art of sandwich making. Allen judged the competition and determined who deserved to be "chopped."
Chopped premieres tomorrow, January 13 at 10pm on the Food Network.
