obama0116.jpg

Craft editor Laura Young of Kaboose.com stopped by to share Inauguration Day crafts that are easy to make, provide a way to talk about the significance of the day and let's not forget fun!

PROJECT DETAILS AND VIDEO AFTER THE JUMP...

Yes We Can Can
Yes we can change the world, find cures for diseases, or feed the hungry. This craft is inspired by Barack Obama's famous 2008 presidential campaign phrase, "Yes we can." Kids can add coins to this can to save money for their favorite cause or charity to make Earth a better place.

With an historic presidential inauguration taking place tomorrow, the media is not saying one thing about the time of the swearing in. The "WHEN" of the who, what, when, where, and why is grossly missing! It is even difficult to find the time in the newspaper. This should be basic stuff for the media!
Oops, I just heard Linda Church -- the weather woman, no less -- mention that it is at noon. Yes, finally!
