One Year Later: Heath Ledger And His Legacy

Exactly one year ago today, acclaimed 28-year-old actor Heath Ledger was found dead in his SoHo apartment after taking a lethal mixture of sleeping pills and anti anxiety drugs. Here to talk about his legacy, contributions to Hollywood and his Oscar nomination is editor of PopEater.com Jason Kaufman.

Ledger is leaving a legacy in New York City too. Five Leaves, the bar Ledger frequented in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, was backed by the actor prior to his death in January 2008 and is now funded by Ledger's estate. Five Leaves is a casual Californian and Australian-fare oyster bar and coffeehouse.
