Hawaiian Tropic Dancers Bust A Move To Celebrate The Superbowl

dance0128.jpg

They're back! The Hawaiian Tropic Dancers are here again to perform another sizzling routine in time for this Sunday's Superbowl.

And if that didn't grab your attention football fans, these ladies are giving away a FREE Hawaiian Tropic Superbowl Party for you and a friend! That means, you can watch the big game on New York City's largest video wall while enjoying food and drinks on the house. All you have to do is wait for the on-air cue and be the 11th caller to (866) 414-2911. Good luck!

If you didn't catch their routine on-air (or if you'd like to see them in person), the Hawaiian Tropic Dancers perform Wednesday and Saturday evenings at the Hawaiian Tropic Zone in Times Square. For more information, visit www.hawaiiantropiczone.com.

Can I get this as a screen saver? =D

This mornings performance by the Hawaiian Tropic Dancers was disgusting. They could of toned down their outfits for this mornings news cast. The producer should be embarrassed.

Sincerely,

Channel 11 Morning News Fan

Channel 11 Morning News Fan,

I watch CW11 every morning and I'll continue to do so. Although I had enjoyed watching the dancers, I did feel it was a bit racy for early morning news. And I'll also give you this: The producer(s) should be EMBARRASSED BY A LOT MORE THAN JUST BRINGING ON THE DANCERS AS GUESTS. They far too often confuse news footage and photos with different reports and their control room operators don't appear to be all that skilled. They (the production team) also place WAY too much importance on entertainment news. It's probably a real party behind the cameras.

Looking great ladies!! :) GO DAISY!!!!!

Seems like the only ones showing support for the dancers are their friends. Sad.

Fans, viewers, & entertainers,

I, too, have been a fan of Channel 11 Morning News for years and will continue to be loyal.

The HTZ dancers are no different than any other act performed on the show. Please take into consideration the theme (Superbowl) and who it is supposed to appeal to (male football fans).

Im sure the dancers expend countless hours practicing/rehearsing their numbers and they are very talented.

(To: Adam/Antoinette/Anonymous/& anyone else who is still on the fence about how they feel about the performance)

- If they were wearing sweatpants and sweatshirts and did the dance number... would you feel the same way?
- When you see the Superbowl half-time shows... and the ladies wearing shorts and 1/2 shirts, do you feel that is disgraceful?

Consider the points I've made and think about the HTZ ladies who had a chance to be on "TV". It's supposed to be an exciting event...they did a great job at executing their choreographed dance routine... and name calling/negative criticism should be beneath all us. (Congratulations HTZ ladies)

Suggestion: There are so many negative things that are happening in the world today...lets wait to voice our opinions when something "truly" outrageous happens.

Respectfully,
Steve

Steve, you're probably very young. I can tell by the way you present the same old tired argument of "there are worse things in the world..." as if it were a new point. It's not.

Just because there are "so many negative things happening in the world today," doesn't mean all should just sit aside and keep from voicing opinion against that which serves to further chip away at social decency.

It's idiotic to ask "If they were wearing sweatpants and sweatshirts and did the dance number... would you feel the same way?" Their outfits are part of the problem, so obviously not. As for all of the other things that happen at the Superbowl, behavior at that event can be relegated to questionable on average and criminal at worst (consider how people have rioted when their home team loses).

I wouldn't even call your attempt at an argument a 'nice' try.

It's the human body. What's to be so disgusted about by it? Maybe it was a bit racy for early morning TV, but it's Fox News for Goodness sake. If you're watching that show and not expecting something like this, better to change the channel. God created Woman and God created Man..what's wrong with either one of the sexes showing off their perfectly toned bodies if they've worked hard to get it to that point? No one is nude here..no one is doing anything that they don't want to. They're proud of their talent, and proud of their bodies. It's an art form.

Uhm... Justin? It's CW11. Fox is six channels down. Have another hit and go lie down.

Uhm... Justin? It's PIX11, not Fox. Fox is six channels down. Have another hit and go lie down.

Posted by Adam at January 30, 2009 10:55 PM

Say Justin? This is PIX11, not Fox. Fox is a different channel. Go have another hit, lie down, and call it a night.

Posted by René at February 2, 2009 6:37 AM

Good point Justin! But it's CW11, not fox buddy. But again, good point.

Posted by Justin at February 3, 2009 2:23 PM

Hey Adam, Are you really this pathetic? You posted the same information three times in a row changing one to two words. No wonder you are so outraged by girls dancing, girls like this probably laugh at your attempts to talk with them. So me stating fox when it was a WPIX proves I am human and make mistakes. You retyping something three times and changing one to two words but stating the same thing proves that you are a giant tool with a limited vocabulary.

Posted by ADAM at February 4, 2009 5:42 AM

The "Post" button sticks, and gives no indication that anything's been posted. And it takes a few days for the webmaster to post, so you repost to ensure your words get across. As for being pathetic... Are you sure you're on the right site this time weed boy?

Yes, I get tons of laughs out of women... when pointing out the stupidity of clowns like yourself.

Posted by Steve at February 4, 2009 7:53 AM

Adam,

My comments were meant to de-sensitize the situation and look at it from the performers viewpoint... but apparently, you believe this blog is your personal channel to vent some hidden hostilities towards anyone with an opinion (or women).

"Probably Young"? "Same old tired arguement"? "Idiotic"? My my... Your comments seem to be predicable and cliché.

How about this son... (as I'm sure I'm older than you). You don't like something? Change the channel! Have an opinion... voice it with respect. Want to be controversial don't be hypocritical. You want to resort to name calling and an "Archie Bunker" attitude... by all means TVLand & Nick at Nite have great programs for you to enjoy!

Have a good nite thinking of a reply that won't make you look feeble minded.

Steve

Steve,

Wow, is that the best you've got?

Yes, young. In fact, one person I shared your post with referred to you as a possible "frat boy." But you're old, which makes you sadly undereducated.

You say my comments are "predictable" and "cliché", then you suggest that "Change the channel" if "I don't like something." Again, saying something old as if it were new. Sad. Tell you what, enjoy the same, tired, mind-numbing trash that's made you the unparalleled success you are. I'll do better than change the channel. I'll stop watching, because it makes me akin to common idiots like yourself.

Posted by Steve at March 6, 2009 7:18 AM

Adam Adam, I'm young...I'm old...

Enjoyed the banter...but you're getting boring now.

Oh... by the way, stop hanging out with your boyfriends (reading my entries)...I don't want to be part of your late night antics.
