Learn to Play Basketball
Friday, January 9 from 3pm - 6pm
Location: Sorrentino Recreation Center (18-48 Cornaga Avenue at Beach 19th Street); Queens

Want to learn how to make a jump shot? Is your dribble too drab? The New York City Department of Parks & Recreation is offering free instructional basketball clinics to boys and girls ages 5 - 10 from December 13, 2008 to January 17, 2009. In a non-competitive environment, youths can learn how to strengthen skills, work as a team, and develop a base knowledge of the sport. Clinics will take place in Recreation Centers in all five boroughs. Contact your borough recreation center for more information.
