Charlie Murphy Lights Up Caroline's Comedy Club
Comedian Charlie Murphy stopped by the PIX studio to talk about his performances at Carolines Comedy Club tonight through Sunday, January 25. He also spoke about his forthcoming book Doing Time: The Making Of A Stand-Up Guy due in August 2009 and being the new pitch man for Nike's 2009 Air Jordan campaign.
A native New Yorker, Murphy is best remembered for his work on Comedy Central's Chappelle Show, inluding his hilarious "Charlie Murphy's True Hollywood Story" sketches (Check it out after the jump). Since the Chappelle Show, Murphy has lent his voice to Adult Swim's The Boondocks as Ed Wuncler III and has appeared in movies Night at the Museum, The Perfect Holiday and The Hustle. You can look for him on the big screen again in the summer movie Frankenhood.
