Celebrated Actress Sigourney Weaver Chats About Her New Lifetime Movie

Sigourney Weaver stopped by live in our studio to talk about being in the new Lifetime movie, Prayers for Bobby.
The Academy Award nominated and Golden Globe winning actress stars in this emotional true story about a 1970s religious suburban housewife and mother who struggles to come to terms with her son Bobby's homosexuality. Mary is led to question her faith and ultimately changes her views in ways that she never could have imagined.
Weaver is best known for her role in the Alien film series--which garnered her an Oscar nod--and in the Ghostbusters movies. She became the first person to win two acting Golden Globes in the same year for her roles in Gorillas in the Mist and Working Girl. Most recently, she has appeared in films such as The Tale of Despereaux, WALL-E, and the TV series Eli Stone.
Prayers for Bobby premieres tomorrow night at 9pm on Lifetime.
