Antonique Smith Talks About Her Role In New Bio-Pic 'Notorious'
Singer and actress Antonique Smith stopped by the studio to talk about the upcoming release of Fox Searchlight's Notorious, which premieres on January 16.
The film tells the story of Christopher Wallace--the man who would later come to be known as the rapper, The Notorious B.I.G. Directed by George Tillman, Jr., this real-life story follows Wallace's transformation from a Brooklyn street hustler to one of the most celebrated rappers of all time. Notorious documents the rapper's rise to fame as he defies expectations and the conventions of fame. Smith plays singer Faith Evans, who is widely known as "The First Lady of R&B" and is the widow of The Notorious B.I.G.
Antonique Smith has previously appeared on Law & Orderand the 2007 film, Across the Universe. She also had a starring role as Mimi in Jonathan Larson's Broadway production of "Rent."
