From a highly selective field of nearly 34,000 applicants nationwide, fast food chain Wendy’s will bring the 12 finalists to New York City to reveal the two national winners for the 2008 Wendy’s High School Heisman Award.
Each finalist embodies the Heisman spirit of hard work and dedication in academics, athletics and in the community, and two local students are among the finalists: Joseph Rigby of Suffield High School, Suffield, CT and Irene Kalbian of Cheshire High School, Cheshire, CT.
Tune in to ESPN2 this Sunday, December 14th at 6pm to see the ceremony! For more information, visit www.wendyshighschoolheisman.com.
