Erran Baron Cohen Is Celebrating The New Year In 'The Key of Hanukkah'

Erran Baron Cohen, brother of Comedy Central and Borat star Sasha Baron Cohen spoke with Emily about his new album,Songs in the Key of Hanukkah.

Cohen is a British composer and multi-instrumentalist whose credits include scoring the music for his brother's film, Borat: Cultural Teachings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan. and his TV series Da Ali G Show. He has also created the theme music for the popular CBBC show Serious Jungle.


Songs in the Key of Hanukkah
is a collection of songs which heralds the ancient music of Hanukkah into the 21st century, with songs that incorporate aspects of reggae, electronica, hip hop, pop and even tango. The album contains five reinterpretations of classic favorites along with five original tracks, and features the performances of a bevy of world-class Jewish singers, including Idan Raichel, and New York City-based rapper Y-Love.

Songs in the Key of Hanukkah is in stores now.
