Danny Aiello Sings Hits From New Album 'Live From Atlantic City'

Actor turned singer Danny Aiello stopped by the studio this morning to sing "Some of These Days" and "Medley: Swing Low, Sweet Chariot and Lonesome Road" from his new CD Live From Atlantic City, which is available in stores now from Dreammakers Records.
The album was recorded at the now demolished Copa Room at the Sands Hotel and Casino. This was the same room where Aiello and his wife Sandy watched Frank Sinatra performed his final public US concert in 1994.
Aiello is an Oscar-nominated actor who has 70 films under his belt including Moonstruck and Do the Right Thing. He's worked with the likes of Nicolas Cage, Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Robert Duvall and Woody Allen. But, singing has always been in his blood. He used to sing on the streets of the Bronx when he was a kid and in 2004 he debuted with his single "I Just Wanted to Hear the Words."
A native New Yorker, Aiello is working on his third album Bridges (2009), on which he collaborates with producer and rapper Hassan. He also has a new comedy club in Hobeoken, New Jersey called Danny's Upstairs.
You can purchase Live From Atlantic City at Amazon.com.
