Race For The White House Ends Today

The polls are open and Nick Ragone is back to reveal the last minutes standings in the race for the White House.
Referring to Senator John McCain, Ragone said that no candidate has come from so far behind and that this election is "not a nail-bitter." However, if McCain were to win, it would be a major upset.
The key states to look at are swing states Georgia, Virginia and Ohio. If Senator Barack Obama wins Georgia and Virginia, there is a very good chance he has won the entire election. If he wins Ohio, a state that usually goes to the Republican candidiate, it is a done deal, Ragone stated.
Most networks are causing a bit of controversy by not waiting for West Coast voters to cast their ballots. Instead, they will call the winner when they feel it is right.
It is also predicted that McCain will gain a larger popular vote than George W. Bush recieved when he was up for election. However, with that larger number, pundits say he will still lose.
NOTE: Polls are open from 6am to 9pm in New York; 6am to 8pm in New Jersey; and 6am to 8pm in Connecticut. Voters wearing candidate paraphernalia, such as T-shirts, hats or buttons, will be turned away from the polls. However, voters in line by closing time with ID will be able to cast their last-minute ballot.
