'The Sopranos' Joe Gannascoli's Clam Chowder Is To Die For

Joe Gannascoli is best known for his role as Vito in The Sopranos and he was here to make clam chowder you cannot refuse! Gannascoli is a judge at the First Annual Chowder Fest held on Sunday, November 16 from 11am - 6pm at Staten Island's FDR Boardwalk hosted by The Vanderbilt.

The event will be helping kids with cerebral palsy, autism, and traumatic brain injuries in conjunction with "Bright Steps Forward," a charity dedicated to raising money for intensive pediatric therapy for disabled children.

CHOWDER RECIPE, PICTURE AND VIDEO AFTER THE JUMP...

Staten Island Chowder
Ingredients
Jar of Sauce Boss (available at King Kullen)
Chicken stock
Asparagus
Potatoes
Leeks
Zucchini
Mozzarella cheese
Broccoli
Fennel
Pesto
Pignoli nuts
Olive oil

Directions
1. Cook sauce and chicken stock in a pot.
2. In a pan, sautee vegetables in olive oil. Add them to the pot of sauce and chicken stock. Cook well together.
3. Spoon into bowl. Garnish with pesto, pignoli nuts and olive oil.
