Boggy Peak is the highest point on the island of Antigua. It lies in the far southwest of the island at 17°3′0″N 61°51′0″W / 17.05, -61.85,[1] and rises to a height of 395 m (1319 ft).
On November 5, 2008 premier W. Baldwin Spencer of Antigua and Barbuda announced that Boggy Peak will be renamed after U.S. president-elect Barack Obama.
