Totally Tamsen: Hip-Hop Ballet

Created and directed by Choi Hee-ill, Ballerina Who Loves B-boy has landed in New York City's off-Broadway scene after a sold out tour of Korea and an acclaimed run at the 2007 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

A super-charged dance piece featuring the 2007 B-boy World Champions Extreme Crew, Ballerina Who Loves B-boy follows a snobbish ballerina practicing safely inside her studio until she is interrupted by a loud band of street dancers who have set up their “studio” right outside. The two worlds collide creating a high-energy, heart pounding, gravity- defying display of technical skill that will leave the audience in awe.

Presented by Mr. Oh Tae-sik, Ballerina Who Loves B-boy will begin performances on, Wednesday, October 1 and will run through December 21, opening night, Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at 37 Arts (450 W. 37th Street).

1. TO ENTER & WIN: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW. You must be 18 years of age or older and a legal resident of the WPIX viewing area to enter. To enter, watch the WPIX Morning News on October 21, 2008 for the promotional announcement giving viewers the cue to call the WPIX Official Contest Line at 1-866-414-CW11. The eleventh (11th) caller after will be declared the winner, subject to verification and compliance with the rules. Winners will be notified by telephone at the time of the call on Tuesday, Ocober 21st. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received.

2. PRIZES: One winner will receive two tickets to a performance of "Ballerina Loves B-Boy" (ARV: $140). Prizes are non-transferable, non-negotiable and not redeemable for cash, credit or merchandise. Only one prize will be awarded per household. If any prize becomes unavailable for any reason, Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a prize of comparable value. Winners must claim and redeem their prizes by Wednesday, December 31, 2008. Winner's ability to redeem prize may depend on seating availability for the Winner's desired performance date. Ticket pickup will be arranged by WPIX-TV and the "37 Arts" box office. Returned or unclaimed prizes will be forfeited, and no alternate winners will be selected nor will replacement prizes be awarded.
