Rob Brown Wants You To Remember 'The Express'

Actor Rob Brown plays football player Ernie Davis, the the first African-American to win the Heisman Trophy, in the new movie The Express, which premieres on Friday, October 10.
Set in summer 1962, during the civil rights movement, Ernie was riding a wave of success after his star performance for the Syracuse University Orangemen lead to his draft into the NFL. Soon after, though, he was diagnosed with acute monocytic leukemia, an incurable disease. He died at age 23 without ever taking the professional field.
This Harlem-born, Brooklyn-raised actor's other film credits include Finding Forrester, Coach Carter, Take The Lead and Stop-Loss.
