Larry's Getting A Halloween Preview at Jekyll & Hyde's

Larry's got our halloween preview at midtown's Jekyll & Hyde Restaurant. Check out the spook-tacular fun at www.jekyllpub.com.

Time Out New York's Ashlea Halpern also stopped by with her picks for the hottest halloween events around town:

They included:
1. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde screening
2. Village Halloween Parade
3. The Greatest Halloween Party Ever IV

VIDEO AND MORE INFO AFTER THE JUMP...

(1) Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde screening
Trinity Church, 89 Broadway at Wall St.
212-602-0800, trinitywallstreet.org
What it is: bring both of your personalities to gothic Trinity Church, founded in 1697, for a screening of the 1920 silent horror classic Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, starring John Barrymore. The film will be accompanied by the eerie sounds of organist cameron carpenter, best known for playing scores from anime while wearing self-designed concert clothes.

(2) Village Halloween Parade
Sixth Ave from Spring St to 22nd st (halloween-nyc.com). 7pm.
Costumes are required only if you want to join the mile-long route.
What it is: it's year no. 35 for the city's largest and lewdest participatory event: join 50,000 of your closest friends-and hundreds of puppets, 53 bands and dozens of floats-in celebrating this year's theme: ghosts.

(3) The Greatest Halloween Party Ever IV
The Bell House, 149 7th St. (btwn 2nd and 3rd Aves), Gowanus, Brooklyn
718-643-6510, thebellhouseny.com
8pm, $15, Costumes required
What it is: "Laying Astroland To Rest" is the theme of this immodestly named party, though its promoters make a good case: the bell house plays host to live burlesque acts (Sapphire Jones, Creamy Stevens), performances by El Jefe vs. Demons and toys in trouble, and deejaying from smutvillain. Brooklyn brewery will offer free beer from 8 to 9pm, and the burgers are gratis while they last. Astroland's demise will be duly memorialized with skee-ball and strength games. Still uncommitted? Two words: ball pit.

You can check out all the events at www.timeoutny.com.
