'Ghost Hunters' Monitor Halloween Activity For 7 Hours

ghosts1028a.jpg

Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson are back with a new season of Ghost Hunters and an intense 7-hour live Halloween special, which will air this Friday starting at 7pm on the SciFi Channel.

Hawes and Wilson will visit Fort Delaware for the second time this year. Commonly referred to as the "Black Hole," Fort Delaware was used during the Civil War as a POW camp that housed over 33,000 Confederate soldiers. Ravaged by epidemics and torture nearly 2,400 failed to escape and died on the island. The restless spirits have never left.

Interestingly, the duo are plumbers by trade who happen to head the Atlantic Paranormal Society. They are part of "taps" -- a group of ordinary people such as office managers, factory workers and teachers, who moonlight to understand seemingly unexplainable disturbances.

Ghost Hunters airs Wednesdays at 9pm on the SciFi Channel.
