Ashley Tisdale Talks About 'High School Musical 3'

Actress Ashley Tisdale plays resident mean girl Sharpay Evans in the Disney movie High School Musical 3: Senior Year, which debuts tomorrow, Friday, October 24 in theaters.

Tisdale's co-star Monique Coleman (Taylor McKessie) also stopped by the studio this morning to talk about the film.

The movie is the third installment of the High School Musical franchise, and now the gang is starting their senior year and getting ready to leave East High School behind. And with the prospect of going in separate directions, they organize a spring school musical to reflect their experience at East High and their hopes and fears for the future. And Sharpay (Tisdale) is prepared to shine in the musical with hopes of jump starting her career as an entertainment susperstar.

A native of New Jersey, fans will also recognize Tisdale from her role as Maddie Fitzpatrick on the Disney Channel's The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.

Along with acting, Tisdale has expanded her career into music. he debut solo album, Headstrong, is available in stores now and features singles "He Said She Said," "Be Good To Me," "Not Like That," and "Suddenly."
