Affion Crockett Singing With 'Soul Men'
Comedian Affion Crockett plays Lester in the upcoming movie Soul Men.
The movie is about two soul-singing legends Louis (Samuel L. Jackson) and Floyd (Bernie Mac) who reunite after 20 years of silence for a performance at the Apollo Theater to honor a recently deceased band leader, according to IMDB.com.
There has already been much talk about this movie as it is the final film featuring headliners Bernie Mac and Issac Hayes before both passed away in August 2008, one day apart from each other.
Crockett is a native of North Carolina and has lent his voice to several episodes of The Boondocks. He has also been recent films Welcome Home, Roscoe Jenkins and Never Back Down.
