A Crash Course In Wine Selection
Wine Guru Gary Vaynerchuk explained how to navigate your wine shop. His advice:
- Determine how the store is laid out. By variety? By region? By wine style? Just a bunch of shiny displays?
- Ask the merchant what they have that is exciting and off the beaten path
- Describe a type of wine you like and a price range and ask them to suggest something good that you've probably never tasted before
- Try to go to stores that offer wine tasting so you can try before you buy!
