Portrait Of A 9/11 Hero
Abe Zalmenowitz lost his life on September 11, while waiting for help to come for his quadraplegic friend. The CW11's Sukanya Krishnan spoke to his family about his life and the lessons learned from his selflessness and kindness.
His story inspired artist Jodi Reznik to paint a true portrait of this hero. Abe's portrait will be on display at J. Reznik Studios today through September 17th. The studio is located at 1305 East 17th Street in Brooklyn.
