Michael C. Hall Says Why 'Dexter' Will Kill This Season

Actor Michael C. Hall stars as the title character in Showtime’s Dexter, which premieres Sunday, September 28 at 9pm. It'll be in its fourth season.

The series is set in Miami where Dexter Morgan is a blood spatter analyst for the Miami Metro Police Department. But he's not the typical criminologist -- he's also a serial killer. Dexter is based on the book Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay.

Hall is a Golden Globe and Emmy nominated actor who hails from Raleigh, North Carolina. Fans will remmeber him from the HBO series Six Feet Under, where he played David Fisher, co-operator of the family's funeral home Fisher & Sons.
