Children Can Soon Go On A 'Zoofari'

Jim Knox, zoo educator at Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo and host of the children’s wildlife series on PBS, Wild Zoofari, brings in a few creepy creatures for Jill Nicolini to play with: an American alligator, a pine snake, a Honduran milk snake, and a blue-tongue skink.
For thrills of a different kind, bring your children to the zoo this weekend. For details, log onto their website at www.beardsleyzoo.org for more info. You can also watch his show Jim Knox's Wild Zoofari on PBS stations across the country. Go to www.wildzoofari.org for show listings.
