The CW11 Morning News has been instrumental in finding hundreds of shelter animals a new home with our long-running "Adopt-A-Pet" series.
Now the illustrator of the wildly popular comedy “Mutts” created a book dedicated to shelter stories. Patrick McDonnell stopped by to tell us why shelter animals are the way to go if you're hoping to bring a little four legged love into your home.
