We're Spinning Out of Control for the Yo-Yo Open
The International Yo-Yo Open & NY State Yo-Yo Contest taking place on August 8-9, 2008 In New York City. Due to the popularity of last year's event, its been expanded to two days now.
Scheduled as a two day event taking place at the South Street Seaport, it is expected to be the largest yo-yo competition and exhibition ever, drawing the world's best and most skilled yo-yo athletes including members of the U.S., Swiss, Italian, Japanese, Czech Republic and UK teams.
The festival-like atmosphere will feature high-energy dj's, professional yo-yo demonstrations, giveaways, contests for pre-registered competitors, and a marketplace featuring the latest yo-yos for novices, world champions and collectors alike.
