Summer Beers

beers.jpg

Don’t let the scorching temperatures get to you, we’ve got some summer beers that are sure to cool you off. So sit back, relax, and let’s make a toast.

BEER RECOMMENDATIONS AND VIDEO AFTER THE JUMP...

Summertime refreshers, listed in no particular order:

Troeg's Sunshine Pils - A clean, crisp seasonal offering with floral hops, light body with palate cleansing carbonation.

Southampton Double White - While fuller bodied than a traditional white ale, this beer's orange and coriander flavors pop with hearty dinner salads.

Brooklyn Summer Ale - This summertime refresher presents mild bready sweetness and mild citrus spice, complementing the beers light body and superior drinkability.

Sly Fox Pale Ale - From an ultra-portable can, this beer is a classic representation of the American pale ale, with sweet malts up front followed by mild grapefruit hop flavor.

Anchor Liberty - This iconic brew is bursting with hop flavors, while not being overly bitter, finding harmony with clean grain sweetness.

Victory Prima Pils - There are few beers available that provide greater summertime refreshment than this crisp, clean, floral hopped beer.

Sam Adams Black Lager - Don't let the dark appearance of this beer fool you, Black Lager is incredibly smooth, light bodied and flavored with gentle dark grains.

Dogfish Head Festina Peche - A wheat beer made with real peaches, weighing in at 4.5% ABV, Festina has an initial tartness that is softened beautifully by the fruit's natural sweetness.

Pabst Blue Ribbon - Looking for summer beer refreshment can prove tricky, and the task only gets more difficult the further from civilization you get. PBR is still winning competitions and is a great option when beer options are limited.

Sierra Nevada Summerfest - Inspired by the clean, crisp beers of Europe, this brew's light color, medium body and crisp hop bite provide assertive flavors that are easy to appreciate as the temperatures rise.

This was awesome! What a great segment. Rick Sellers really knows his beer. Now I'm thirsty - thanks a lot! :-)
