Don't Hate the Ping Pong Playa, Hate the Game

John Muller takes on the star of the movie Ping Pong Playa Jimmy Tsai in a friendly game of ping pong.
Academy Award-winning documentary filmmaker Jessica Yu (In the Realms of the Unreal), makes her narrative feature debut with the warm and light-hearted Ping Pong Playa, written by Jessica Yu and Jimmy Tsai, starring Jimmy Tsai, and an ensemble cast featuring Stephnie Weir (MadTV), Peter Paige and Scott Lowell (from Showtime's Queer as Folk).
Ping Pong Playa opens on September 5th in New York at the Regal E-Walk Theater (247 West 42nd St, New York, NY) and at the Lowes Village 7 Theater (66 3rd Ave., New York, NY).

Looking forward to the new movie Ping Pong Playa. It’s about a guy who wants to be a basketball star, but ends up teaching his mother’s ping pong classes after she gets into an accident. Jimmy Tsai looks hilarious as C-Dub! It opens in theaters September 5th. You can find a trailer for Ping Pong Playa here:

hahah.. it's not a documentary (like it says in the first sentence) even though the director is known for her documentaries..
