Paul Sorvino Shows His Sensative Side
Paul Sorvino stars in the new film Greetings from the Shore, opening on September 12.
"[This film] gave me a chance to show me much more as I am. Everybody thinks I'm some tough guy, mafioso," stated Sorvino, referring to his role in The Goodfellas. "I'm nothing like people think I am and so this film just came along and I was just so entranced by it."
Sorvino plays Catch Turner, a sort of surrogate father to Jenny Chambers (newcomer Kim Shaw), an incoming college freshman whose father just passed away.
In real life, Sorvino has three children. He is the father of actress Mira Sorvino.
