Rapper Ice Cube is in the new movie The Longshots, directed by former Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst. The movie debuts on August 22.

The film centers on Curtis Plummer (Ice Cube), who is a former high school football star, and his niece Jasmine (Keke Palmer). Curtis turns Jasmine into a star quarterback for a local team, the Minden Browns. Jasmine helps bring the team to the Pop Warner Super Bowl, where they try to re-ignite pride and glory to Minden, Illinois.

"I play football and Pop Warner I played in high school for a year, then I met Dr. Dre and stopped going to practice," said Ice Cube.

His new CD, Raw Footage, will be released only a few days before the movie on August 19.

When Jones is not competing, he leads learn-to-swim and pool safety clinics for children. These workshops are important to him. When he was 5-years-old, Jones almost drowned at Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom in Pennsylvania.

Elmo and new Sesame Street neighbor Leela are promoting Season 39 of Sesame Street.

Leela, played by Nitya Vidyasagar, is the first Indian-American to join the long-running, award-winning show. This character owns the local laundromat. And with this ground-breaking character, Sesame Street will also incorporate elements of the Indian culture into their program.

Vidyasagar said that the new season of Sesame Street will also "focus on math literacy."

Cho said tries to be naked as much as possible on her show. Her passion for nudity stemmed from a bad screen test in which the executives told her to never wear a midriff shirt in public because it made her look ugly. She also suffered from bouts of anorexia and bulimia soon afterwards on her ground-breaking show All-American Girl.

"I was so adamant about being thin. And that's why I want to be naked and show off and show that you don't have to be a size zero in Hollywood. You can survive and be beautiful," Cho said.

Cho is also in the middle of her "Beautiful Tour" this summer. You can catch her at The Funny Bone in Des Moines, Iowa. However, homebodies will have to wait until October 4 to see Cho in New York at Radio City Music Hall.

Scrubs star Judy Reyes is starring in the new Lifetime Movie Network movie Little Girl Lost: The Delimar Vera Story, which premieres on Sunday, August 17 at 8pm.

The film is based on"the wrenching true story of a mother who lost and found her child - in the arms of a distant relative." Reyes plays Luz Cuevas, the mother who loses her infant daughter during a suspicious house fire. However, Luz's maternal instincts lead her to believe that her child is still alive.

Though she now lives in Los Angeles, Reyes is an all-around native New Yorker. She hails from Washington Heights in The Bronx and became interested in acting while she was a student at Hunter College of the City University Of New York (CUNY) in Manhattan. She is even one of the founding members of LAByrinth Theatre Company, near the border of Murray Hill and Hell's Kitchen.

Emily Frances sat down with musical prodigy Ryan Leslie, a native New Yorker, to talk about his rise to fame.

Actor Ed Westwick plays Chuck Bass on the hit show Gossip Girl, whose season premiere is on September 1.

Westwick, an English actor, puts on an American accent to play his role. Based on the novel series of the same name by Cecily von Ziegesar, Gossip Girl follows the lives of six Upper East Side prep school students. Their rivalries and conflicts are followed by the show's narrator, the Gossip Girl, who also runs a blog about the secret going-ons and rumors within the prep school.

Chuck is the bad boy and the anti-hero of the group. He is edgy and manipulates others to get what he wants. At the end of season one, Chuck was dating fellow elite socialite Blair (Leighton Meester). They were planning a trip to Italy, but Chuck stood Blair up at the airport and opted to meet an interior designer. Blair, who was left at the airport, meets a stranger and gets on the plane with him.

To find out what happens to Chuck and the rest of the New York socialites, tune in Monday, September 1 to the CW11 at 8pm.

Phoebe Lynch is 10-years-old and wanted a green screen for Christmas! Her parents won an auction for Friday Forecaster at the Futures in Education Foundation's Be an Angel to A Student Program fundraiser.

Sophia Bush is Brooke Davis on One Tree Hill, whose season premiere is Monday, September 1 on the CW11 at 9pm after the premiere of Gossip Girl. Bush's co-star Daphne Zuniga, who plays her mother Victoria, stopped by yesterday as well.

At the end of last season, Brooke was forced to return her adopted daughter to hre birth parents and she turned to her friend Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) for support. Lucas and Brooke became close while Brooke was an adoptive mother. However, he also has feelings for ex-girlfriend Peyton (Hilarie Burton) and ex-fiancee Lindsey (Michaela McManus). At the airport, Lucas makes a phone call and all three women were shown answering hteir phone. He asks the girl on the other line that he has two tickets to Las Vegas and if she wants to get married.

The question is: who was the girl at the end of the line? Tune in Monday night at 9pm to the CW11 to find out.
