This is a great interview! Taylor is a multi talented powerhouse of a performer so there was no doubt in my mind how fantastic he would be on Broadway....You rock soul man...

Great questions. Great interview. I so wish I could make it to NY this summer before his Broadway stent is over.

I'm coming to New York to see Taylor in Grease. It's great to hear about the new album also. He's such a sweetie!

WOW!!! That MAN is just soooo, Gorgeous.

I think Taylor is probably the one person from season five of American Idol who will be remembered 10 years from now. He's a fascinating character. While everybody else's lightning has been flashing around him, he's been steadily, methodically building a firm foundation for himself. His eggs are well distributed amongst many baskets. I had my doubts about him, but I think maybe America did get it right after all. The man is bloody brilliant!

Another great interview. So happy Taylor is enjoying NYC. Taylor watch out for those White Castle burgers, they are addicting.

I was very impressed with the tone of the interview and the questions from Emily Frances. It was wonderful to get some new info about the recording of Taylor's new album along with his activities in NY.

Thanks for the video.

I am more than pleased with this interview. As a long standing member of Taylor's beloved Soul Patrol, we are always looking for good news about this fantastic artisan we have come to love, and this interview certainly made me smile. I may not have means or opportunity to come up that way to enjoy the show, but you better believe I'm backing it and talking it up as much as I can - what a coup! Again, thanks so much for treating Taylor so kindly. It wont be forgotten.

Loved the interview, thanks for making it available. Taylor is certainly enjoying his Grease experience and making a new CD. Taylor you rock, continue doing what you do.

Taylor Hicks is an easygoing guy who seems at ease in any environment- Alabama to New York , bluesy gutsy concert to Broadway live theater. Thanks for the interview!

Taylor Hicks looks great, wow. He must have lost some weight since Idol! Reminds me how much I need to lose weight!

I was little when the movie version came out so don't remember much. But didn't Teen Angel just descend down some stairs and sing? I mean, he didn't have any lines, did he? I'm just asking because Taylor Hicks mentions this being a part and getting in character and acting. But it's really not much of an acting gig, it's more like a cameo one-song gig. Or maybe I just don't know the play version.

Anyway, the little bit he sang sounded great and I bet he's wonderful in it. I am looking forward to hearing his album too. There is so much talent coming out of American Idol, what a great show it continues to be.

Thanks for the nice interview with Taylor. New York is lucky to have him all summer. Can't wait for that new cd.

Nice interview, twinkle in his eye, did you see it? Interesting how this whole persona has evolved. Seems more at ease now, very comfortable, is it the real guy, now? As for the White Castle, gad, havent been in many moons, the choc shakes were divine, thick. I guess there arent any White Castles in Bama. Want to go to Waffle House, on the net the closest one is in PA. Prob doesn't have the same ambiance as Alabama, shoot.

Once again Taylor comes off like the gentleman that he is. He interviews so well. He quickly learned how to choose his words carefully. However, the man has trouble sitting still. :-)

Taylor is so brilliant in Grease. He just puts his whole being into whatever he does. I think he is full of surprises. I can't wait to see what comes next.

Looking forward to his "record" in the fall.

Fantastic seeing Taylor again!!! Am so glad to see him having a part on Broadway, and his performance is thoroughly enjoyable. I wish I could see him live, but the video bites are making their claim on me. He is as charismatic as ever, and all his fans are tickled to see him getting yet another opportunity to show the world his talent.

Yeah, America did get it right in Season 5 of American Idol....you don't forget this 'bama boy easily. He ain't gonna let ya! Who else could conjure up a harp blowin' bluesy, soulful, teen angel.

Aside from the role in Grease and the talk of albums, the impression I get from this interview is "What a nice, down to earth, well centered young man!" He seems so unaffected by all of the hype and hoopla. And he is so handsome.
