Madison Davenport Talks About 'Kit Kittredge: An American Girl'

Madison Davenport is co-starring alongside Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine, Nim's Island) as Ruthie Smithens in the upcoming movie Kit Kittredge: An American Girl, in theaters Wednesday, July 2.

Set in Ohio, the movie follows an apiring young reporter and her friends who try to solve a mystery while facing hardships of the Great Depression. Although there have already been three other American Girl movies, Kit Kittredge is the first American Girl movie to be released on the big screen.

Though she is only 11-years-old, Madison's career has already taken off. Not only has she appeared in films like Humboldt County and Monster In The Attic, Madison also lent her voice in the blockbusters films Horton Hears A Who and Over The Hedge. Be on the look out for Madison in Jack And The Beanstalk and Parasomnia, both due out later this year.

Fans can catch Madison at The American Girl Place in New York tomorrow afternoon from 1pm to 3pm.
