Yauch, a native New Yorker hailing from Brooklyn, has had lots of experience with producing and directing. He directed the majority of the Beastie Boys' music videos, several of which have won awards, including "So What'cha Want" (1992), "Intergalactic" (1998), and "Ch-Ch-Check it Out" (2004)
Yauch has also played a large hand in the production and direction on longer features like the “Beastie Boys Video Anthology” DVD, and his “Awesome; I Fuckin’ Shot That!” (2006).
