1. FACT OR QUACK: Vinegar and baking soda stop the itch of a mosquito bite

FACT! But for the baking soda part - not the vinegar, you don't really need vinegar. If you combine some baking soda with a little water and form it into a paste it can help relieve the itching of a mosquito bite. It also smoothes the skin, and if you don’t have any baking soda, no problem, just rub an aspirin on your moistened skin. It will also help.

2. FACT OR QUACK: A quarter on the forehead stops a nosebleed

QUACK! There's no way that putting a quarter on your forehead will stop a nosebleed. The best way to stop a nosebleed is to apply direct pressure to the nose by pinching it. Applying an icepack over the nose can also help. By the way, do you know the number one cause of nosebleeds?

3. FACT OR QUACK: Eating a banana cures a hangover

FACT!
While it won't make the hangover go away completely, it can help you feel a little better. That's because bananas help soothe your stomach. They're also very high in sugar, which is depleted after a big night of drinking. Plus bananas are loaded with electrolytes like magnesium and potassium, both of which are low when you're hung over.
