The Film "The Visitor" Looks At Post 9/11 Immigrant Treatment
A fictional take on a hot button issue, The Visitor takes us inside America's immigration detention centers to shine a spotlight on the controversial practices that go on. Director Tom McCarthy explains how he found himself in the world of Arab-American detainees, and 24 star Naaz Sleiman explain why this is truly a case of life imitating art.
The Visitor takes a dramatic look at love, loyalty and fear set against the backdrop of New York City's INS detention centers. It debuts tonight at the Landmark's Sunshine Cinema. Check out: http://landmarktheatres.comfor showtimes.
