Jacqui Stafford of Shape magazine stopped by with tips for clearing your cosmetic clutter!

-Mascara and liquid eyeliner...toss after 3 months because it dries out, smells, or irritates your eyes.

-Foundation and tinted moisturizer...toss after 1 year because it separates, dries up, or smells funny.

-Lipstick and gloss...toss after 1 year because the smell, shade, or texture changes (lipstick may soften; gloss may become watery.

-Nail polish ...Toss after 18 months because the lacquer thickens, separates, smells odd, or becomes discolored.

- Eye shadow, blush, bronzer...toss after 2 years because it's consistency or color changes and lip and eye pencils.
