Where to Live In NYC?!?!
Most of us here in the city know all too well how hard it is to find a place to live. Renting or buying, you'd better have a big pocket full of money to afford anything even reasonably small and clean, let alone those diamonds in the rough that become real estate treasures. Well, before you throw in the towel and start commuting from Vermont, check out the Real Estate Board of NY (NYC's top real estate group).
Through www.residentialnyc.com, a site which allows consumers free access to exclusive residential listings, the Real Estate Board of NY has been able to determine the hottest neighborhoods in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx. Through about 8 million hits so far on the site, they can tell where people are looking to buy or rent. We can also tell you the least popular neighborhoods which would be fun.
Here are their HOT TIPS:
-Harlem remains hot!
-Jackson Heights
VIDEO & MORE TIPS AFTER THE JUMP...
-Bay Ridge strong in Brooklyn (there is a growing social scene out there)
-Astoria #2 in Queens (a bunch of good restaurants there)
-Spuyten Duyvil #2 in the Bronx (where is this?)
